An opportunity is available for a Commercial Lawyer with 3–4 years’ post-admission experience to join a busy and well-established commercial practice. The role offers hands-on involvement across a broad range of commercial matters, including drafting and negotiating contracts, supporting business and company acquisitions, and assisting with franchising matters. Exposure to property-related transactions, including commercial and retail leasing, would be highly regarded.

What You’ll Be Doing
• Drafting and negotiating a wide range of commercial agreements
• Assisting with business and company acquisitions and other transactional matters
• Advising on franchising arrangements and related commercial issues
• Supporting property transactions, including commercial and retail leasing (where applicable)
• Conducting legal research and preparing clear, practical legal advice
• Managing matters with appropriate autonomy and client contact
• Working closely with clients to understand their commercial objectives
• Collaborating with team members to deliver timely and high-quality outcomes
About You
• Admitted Solicitor with approximately 3–4 years’ post-admission experience in commercial law
• Experience in private practice or in-house commercial environments
• Strong drafting and negotiation skills with excellent attention to detail
• Commercially astute with a practical understanding of business operations
• Confident managing matters independently while contributing to team outcomes
• Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to perform under pressure
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to provide clear, commercial advice
• Proactive, solutions-focused mindset
• Exposure to property and leasing transactions is advantageous but not essential
