Historical/Institutional Abuse Lawyer 3+PQE

Our client, a reputable Australian law firm, presents an exciting full-time opportunity to be part of a high-performing team specialising in sensitive and challenging abuse cases. You can expect to join a growing and dedicated special issues practice group with flexible working arrangements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with a senior partner on a variety of abuse matters, including common law claims and historical child abuse cases.
  • Advocate for plaintiffs in cases against government and religious institutions.
  • Handle complex legal issues related to physical, sexual, and institutional abuse.
  • Be part of a high-performing team specialising in sensitive and challenging abuse cases.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • A minimum of 3 years of post-qualification experience in legal practice.
  • Must possess a current NSW Practicing Certificate.
  • Proven experience and passion for personal injury law, specifically in the context of abuse law.
  • Ability to handle significant and sensitive cases with professionalism and empathy.
