An opportunity is available for an experienced Senior Personal Injury Lawyer to join a well-established team in Wollongong. This role is suited to a lawyer with 5+ years’ post-admission experience, particularly in workers compensation and work injury damages, who is ready to take ownership of a diverse practice, mentor junior lawyers, and play a key role in a growing and client-focused environment. Experience across other areas of personal injury law, including public liability, motor accident claims, medical negligence, institutional abuse, or dust disease, will be highly regarded.

What You’ll Be Doing
• Manage a varied caseload of personal injury matters, with a focus on workers compensation and work injury damages
• Work across additional personal injury areas as required
• Supervise, mentor, and support junior lawyers and legal staff
• Build and maintain strong referrer and professional relationships
• Deliver high-quality legal services and strong client outcomes
• Exercise sound judgment and resolve matters efficiently
About You
• Minimum 5+ years’ post-admission experience in personal injury law
• Strong experience in workers compensation and work injury damages
• Broader experience across personal injury areas (e.g. public liability, motor accidents, medical negligence, institutional abuse, dust disease) is highly regarded
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to exercise sound judgment
• Demonstrated experience mentoring and supervising junior lawyers
• Proven ability to build and maintain professional relationships
