We are partnering with an established law firm to recruit a Commercial, Corporate & IP Lawyer (5+ PAE) to join its Sydney practice. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced lawyer seeking a broad transactional role with exposure to commercial, corporate and intellectual property matters.
About the Role
The successful candidate will advise a diverse client base across a range of commercial and corporate matters, including:
· Drafting and negotiating commercial agreements
· Corporate transactions, acquisitions and disposals
· Joint ventures, shareholder and partnership arrangements
· Corporate structuring, restructuring and advisory work
· Due diligence and business sales and purchases
· Financing, loans and security arrangements
· Trust and corporate structuring
· Trade mark matters and IP portfolio management
· Working closely with senior practitioners and clients on matters from inception through to completion
About You
· 5+ years post-admission experience in commercial and/or corporate law
· Strong technical capability across commercial transactions
· Exposure to IP law is advantageous
· Excellent drafting, negotiation and communication skills
· Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail
· Effective time management and ability to manage competing deadlines
· Client-focused and proactive approach
· Ability to work autonomously while contributing effectively to a team
