We are partnering with an established legal practice to recruit a Senior Personal Injury Lawyer (5+ PAE) for its Wollongong team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced practitioner looking to take on greater responsibility across plaintiff personal injury matters.
About the Role
The role will involve managing a varied caseload and supporting junior team members, with key responsibilities including:
· Managing workers compensation and work injury damages claims.
· Handling a range of other personal injury matters.
· Supervising and mentoring junior lawyers.
· Building and maintaining professional referral relationships.
· Managing client matters and progressing claims effectively.
· Applying sound judgment to resolve legal issues.
About You
· Minimum 5 years post-admission experience in personal injury law.
· Demonstrated experience in workers compensation and work injury damages.
· Exposure to public liability, motor accidents, medical negligence, institutional abuse or dust disease is advantageous.
· Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
· Proven ability to mentor and supervise junior practitioners.
· Effective relationship management and networking abilities.
· Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively.
