We are partnering with a growing plaintiff law firm to recruit a Junior Lawyer – TPD (1–2 PAE) to join its Sydney team. This is an excellent opportunity for a junior lawyer looking to build their experience in Total Permanent Disability claims within a supportive and progressive practice.
About the Role
The role will involve assisting with a portfolio of TPD matters and supporting clients throughout the claims process, with key responsibilities including:
· Managing and progressing TPD matters from initial assessment through to resolution
· Preparing legal correspondence, submissions and supporting documentation
· Reviewing medical and other evidence relevant to claims
· Communicating with clients, insurers and other key stakeholders
· Assisting with negotiations and dispute resolution
· Maintaining accurate and well-organised files
· Providing a high level of client service throughout the matter lifecycle
· Identifying opportunities to improve processes and matter management
· Working closely with senior lawyers and the broader team
About You
· 1–2 years post-admission experience
· Plaintiff personal injury experience highly regarded
· TPD experience desirable but not essential
· Strong file management and organisational skills
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Confident and professional client-facing manner
· Strong attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities
· Ability to work autonomously while contributing effectively within a team
· Strategic and solutions-focused approach
· Genuine interest in developing a career in plaintiff law
