We are partnering with a well-established law firm to recruit an Employment & Safety Solicitor (1-3 years PAE) to join its Melbourne team. This is an excellent opportunity for a junior level lawyer looking to work across a broad range of clients, including international organisations.
About the Role
The role will involve working across a diverse range of Employment and Safety matters, with key responsibilities including:
· Work across a broad range of Employment & Safety matters throughout the employment lifecycle.
· Advise employers on workplace relations, employment issues and safety obligations.
· Handle both employment advisory and dispute resolution matters.
· Work with clients across a range of industries and business environments.
· Gain exposure to complex workplace issues, investigations and litigation.
· Develop strong client relationships and commercial advisory skills.
· Contribute to business development, industry events and thought leadership initiatives.
· Work within a collaborative and supportive team with strong mentoring and career development.
About You
· 1-3 years’ post-admission experience (PAE).
· Strong technical knowledge of Employment & Safety law.
· Experience in employment litigation and dispute resolution.
· Commercially minded with the ability to provide practical, strategic advice.
· Confident in building and maintaining strong client relationships.
· Interested in business development and growing a professional profile.
· Ambitious, proactive and motivated to take on complex matters and develop their career.
· Strong communication skills and a genuine interest in Employment & Safety law.
