We are working with a premier commercial law firm to recruit a talented Associate to join their Corporate Transactions team. This is a rare opportunity to work on headline-making M&A deals and complex corporate matters, alongside a highly regarded team of commercial lawyers.

What you’ll be doing:
- Acting on public and private mergers, acquisitions, disposals, and joint ventures
- Drafting and negotiating transaction documents including share sale agreements, shareholder agreements, and term sheets
- Supporting due diligence reviews and preparing due diligence reports
- Providing strategic corporate advice to clients, including on governance and regulatory issues
- Assisting with corporate restructures, IPOs, and equity raisings
- Working collaboratively with specialists across tax, competition, employment, and IP teams on large-scale deals
- Managing client relationships and contributing to business development initiatives
What we’re looking for:
- 2–5 years’ post-admission experience in M&A, corporate advisory, or commercial transactions
- Strong legal drafting and negotiation skills
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical thinking
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with clients and stakeholders
- A proactive mindset with a genuine interest in commercial law and client service
- A team player who values collaboration and initiative
- A degree in Law and current Australian legal practising certificate
- Strong academic record and a commitment to ongoing professional growth
