A leading Intellectual Property and Technology (IPT) practice in Melbourne is seeking an Associate Lawyer with 3–5 years PQE.
You’ll work on complex and high-profile IP matters with national and international clients, spanning IP disputes, litigation, trade mark prosecution, commercialisation, licensing, and technology transactions.
You’ll collaborate with experienced IPT practitioners in a highly cohesive team, gaining exposure to international matters and opportunities for career growth.

What You’ll Be Doing
· Advise on and manage IP disputes including confidential information, copyright, design, patent, and trade mark litigation
· Progress trademark applications, oppositions, and non-use actions before IP Australia
· Draft and negotiate IP assignments, licenses, and technology agreements
· Provide strategic, commercially-focused advice to clients
· Collaborate with colleagues and support the development of junior team members
About You
· 3–5 years PQE in Intellectual Property law
· Experience in IP disputes and Federal Court litigation
· Hands-on experience with trade mark prosecution and transactional IP matters
· Strong commercial awareness and problem-solving skills
· Personable, proactive, and collaborative with high attention to detail
