We are partnering with a highly regarded, specialist insurance law firm to recruit an Associate (3+ PAE) to join its growing Professional Indemnity practice. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven insurance litigator to work on high-quality matters within a nationally recognised team, while enjoying genuine flexibility and long-term career progression.
About the Role
This role sits within a well-established Insurance practice with a strong reputation in professional indemnity and liability claims. The team acts for insurers and insureds across a broad range of complex and sensitive matters, providing both coverage advice and defence representation.
You will work closely with experienced senior lawyers while also managing your own files and maintaining direct client contact.
Key responsibilities include:
· Managing professional indemnity claims from inception to resolution
· Advising on complex coverage issues and policy interpretation
· Acting in defended litigation across various jurisdictions
· Supporting public liability matters as required
· Drafting pleadings, evidence and detailed legal advice
· Liaising directly with insurers, brokers and insured clients
· Contributing to a collaborative and high-performing team environment
About You
· 3+ years’ PAE in insurance litigation
· Demonstrated experience in professional indemnity matters (coverage and/or defence)
· Strong technical drafting and file management skills
· Ability to run matters with appropriate supervision
· Commercial, pragmatic and client-focused approach
· Clear and confident communication style
· Strong organisational skills and ability to manage competing priorities
· Ambition to progress toward more senior roles within a specialist practice
