What You’ll Be Doing
- Act on a variety of insurance matters with a particular focus on professional indemnity
- Manage a mix of coverage and defence files, handling complex legal and policy issues
- Provide clear, practical, client-focused legal advice
- Run matters autonomously while working collaboratively with the broader team
- Assist with the strategic direction of files, including negotiations and litigation preparation
- Engage with clients, insurers, brokers, and external stakeholders
- Mentor junior lawyers and paralegals, supporting their development
- Contribute to team initiatives, learning, and knowledge-sharing
About You
- Approximately 3+ years’ post-admission experience in insurance law
- Strong background in litigation and exposure to professional indemnity matters
- Ability to confidently advise on complex issues, policy interpretation, and coverage questions
- Strong communication skills with the ability to convey advice clearly and concisely
- Commercial approach to problem-solving and negotiation
- Ability to manage expectations, prioritise deadlines, and run files independently
- Interest in mentoring junior team members and contributing to a collaborative culture
- Enthusiasm to advance your career within a growing and supportive environment
