We are partnering with a leading national law firm to recruit an Associate to join its Property practice in Perth.
This is an excellent opportunity for a property lawyer to work on high-quality transactions and developments within a well-regarded and growing team.
About the Role
This position sits within a high-performing Property team advising a diverse client base across both private and public sectors. The successful candidate will gain exposure to a broad range of property matters, working closely with experienced senior practitioners.
The role offers a strong mix of transactional and project-based work, along with the opportunity to build direct client relationships and take on increasing responsibility.
Key responsibilities include:
· Advising on a range of property transactions and development matters
· Managing and supporting capital acquisitions and disposals
· Assisting with complex commercial and retail leasing matters
· Working on development projects, including subdivisions and master planned communities
· Supporting renewable energy and infrastructure-related property work
· Drafting legal documents, agreements, and client advice
· Liaising directly with clients and stakeholders
· Collaborating with colleagues across practice areas
· Mentoring junior lawyers
About You
· 4+ years’ post-qualification experience in property law
· Experience within a well-regarded property practice
· Strong understanding of property transactions and leasing matters
· Exposure to development or project work will be highly regarded
· Strong drafting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
· Ability to manage competing priorities and work both independently and within a team
· Excellent communication and client relationship skills
· Interest in mentoring and developing junior team members
