We are partnering with a well-established and highly regarded national law firm to recruit an Associate Lawyer to join its growing Real Estate & Construction team in Melbourne.

About the Role
This role sits within a respected commercial property practice acting for a broad range of clients across the Australian property market.
The team advises on complex property transactions spanning retail, commercial and industrial developments, with involvement across the full lifecycle of acquisitions, developments, leasing and asset management matters.
Working closely with experienced Partners and senior lawyers, you will enjoy direct client exposure, hands-on responsibility and the opportunity to further develop your technical and commercial skillset within a high-performing team.
Key responsibilities include:
· Advising on acquisitions, disposals and development transactions
· Assisting with commercial, retail and industrial leasing matters
· Supporting property development and asset management work
· Drafting and negotiating a range of property-related agreements and documentation
· Managing matters from inception through to completion
· Building and maintaining strong client relationships
· Collaborating within a supportive and collegiate team environment
About You
· 3+ years’ PAE in Property, Real Estate or Construction law
· Strong drafting, communication and organisational skills
· Ability to manage competing priorities and work proactively
· Commercially minded with strong attention to detail
· Collaborative and team-oriented approach
· Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues
· Motivated to develop your career within a leading property practice
