An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Associate or Senior Associate to join a premier Banking & Finance team within a top-tier national practice based in Sydney. This role sits within a market-leading Real Estate Finance group, known for advising on high-profile, complex transactions across the capital structure.
The Role
You will work with a team of highly regarded partners and practitioners on a diverse mix of transactions involving major banks, private equity sponsors, private credit funds, listed entities, and developers. The work spans real estate acquisitions, construction financings, M&A transactions, and credit fund arrangements, offering exposure to some of the most dynamic deals in the market.
Whether your preference is to work broadly across the real estate finance spectrum or specialise in a particular area, there is flexibility to align your focus with your career goals.
Key Requirements
- 3+ years PQE in banking & finance, ideally with a strong focus on real estate finance.
- Experience gained in a top-tier or leading international law firm (Commonwealth jurisdictions welcomed).
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex transactions and advise high-end clients with confidence.
- Excellent drafting, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
- A collaborative approach with the ability to work both independently and as part of a wider team.
