A leading Australian law firm is seeking an experienced Associate or Senior Associate (3+ years PQE) to join its growing Corporate team in Melbourne.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work on high-profile corporate and investment transactions, including M&A, capital raisings, private equity and venture capital deals, and investment funds work.
You’ll be involved in drafting, negotiating and executing complex transactions, managing due diligence, and contributing to the growth of a high-performing corporate practice.

What You’ll Be Doing
· Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating transaction documents for mergers, acquisitions, disposals, capital raisings, and investment funds
· Managing due diligence processes and coordinating specialist teams
· Providing strategic legal advice to corporate clients, fund managers, and investors
· Conducting legal research on complex corporate and commercial matters
· Overseeing transactions from start to finish and driving matters to successful completion
· Mentoring junior lawyers and supporting knowledge-sharing within the team
· Maintaining strong client relationships through clear communication and commercial insight
About You
· Admitted Solicitor in Australia with a current practising certificate
· 3+ years’ PQE in corporate law within private practice
· Strong drafting, negotiation, research, and analytical skills
· Ability to take ownership of matters and manage complex transactions independently
· Commercially minded, proactive, and collaborative
· Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
· Committed to delivering high-quality client service and building a long-term career in corporate law
