An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a rapidly growing national insurance practice with one of the largest client bases in Australia.
The firm is seeking an Associate or Senior Associate (3–7+ years PAE) to join its Sydney-based insurance team, due to continued growth and expansion.
This role is ideal for lawyers who are motivated to broaden their insurance experience across multiple classes while building a long-term career in a supportive, high-performing and collaborative national practice.

What you’ll be doing:
· Managing a varied caseload of insurance matters across multiple classes
· Drafting complex court documents, correspondence and advices with minimal supervision
· Preparing clear, timely and commercially-focused client reports
· Attending mediations, conferences and court appearances as required
· Building and maintaining strong client relationships
· Collaborating with national colleagues to deliver value-driven outcomes
· Mentoring and supervising junior lawyers
What we’re looking for:
Associate (3–5 years PAE)
· Exposure to general insurance matters, including public liability property or motor insurance
· Strong drafting, analytical and communication skills
· Proactive, client-focused and solutions-oriented mindset
· Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
Senior Associate (5–7+ years PAE)
· Strong advocacy, drafting and mentoring experience
· Commercial acumen and ability to provide strategic, value-adding solutions to clients
· Experience supervising junior lawyers and contributing to business development
· Ability to work autonomously while collaborating with partners and national colleagues
