A well-established and highly regarded property and real estate team is seeking an Associate or junior Senior Associate with 3+ years’ PQE to join their Melbourne office.
You’ll work on some of the most complex and high-profile real estate transactions in the market, including capital deals, leasing, development projects, and investment funds. Working closely with senior practitioners, you’ll provide strategic advice to listed and private REITs, corporates, private equity, pension and super funds, property developers, and financiers.
This role is ideal for a lawyer with strong transactional experience, commercial acumen, and a client-focused mindset who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

What You’ll Be Doing
· Lead and support complex commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, disposals, leasing, developments, and investment funds
· Draft, review, and negotiate transactional documents with precision and commercial insight
· Provide practical, strategic advice to clients across a variety of real estate matters
· Collaborate with senior colleagues and support junior team members where appropriate
· Maintain excellent file management and ensure clear communication with clients throughout the transaction process
About You
· Minimum 3 years PQE in commercial real estate transactions
· Experience working in a reputable law firm, handling complex property deals
· Strong knowledge of property legislation and GST in a property context
· Excellent drafting, negotiation, and transaction management skills
· Commercially minded, client-focused, and capable of working independently and collaboratively
