We are exclusively partnering with a respected national law firm to recruit an experienced Associate or Senior Associate to join their high-performing Workplace Relations team in Melbourne. This is an exceptional opportunity for an established employment and IR lawyer to advise on complex matters for a premier client base across both the private and public sectors.
About the Opportunity
The team supports a wide range of clients, including major corporates, government agencies, educational institutions, and not-for-profit organisations. You’ll work on a diverse mix of matters including:
- Employment law advisory, including contracts, policies, and compliance
- Industrial relations strategy and enterprise bargaining
- Discrimination, bullying, and harassment issues
- Workplace investigations and disciplinary matters
- Employment-related litigation and Fair Work Commission matters
- Restructures, redundancies, and terminations
You’ll collaborate with approachable and well-regarded Partners who take an active role in mentoring and developing lawyers within a supportive, inclusive culture.
About You
We welcome applications from candidates who possess:
- A minimum of 5 years PAE in employment law and/or industrial relations
- Experience gained at a well-regarded commercial, employment or government practice
- Strong technical knowledge and advisory skills
- Litigation and dispute resolution experience in employment-related matters
- A commercial, solutions-oriented mindset and excellent communication skills
- A team-first approach and genuine interest in building trusted client relationships
