A highly regarded commercial law practice is looking for a Workplace Relations Associate (3–5 PAE) to join its growing team in Sydney. What You’ll Be Doing
· Assist on and manage a range of workplace relations matters including industrial relations, employment law, and regulatory compliance
· Support senior lawyers on complex matters while progressively managing files with increasing autonomy
· Draft and review legal advice, submissions, and correspondence
· Conduct legal research and provide practical, commercially sound advice
· Assist in matters before relevant commissions and courts
· Engage with clients and maintain clear, consistent communication
· Contribute to risk management, change management, and advisory work
· Collaborate with team members and contribute to a positive, high-performing team environment
About You
· Admitted Solicitor in Australia with a current practising certificate
· 3–5 years’ post-admission experience, with exposure to workplace relations, employment, or regulatory law
· Experience appearing in or working on matters before relevant commissions and courts
· Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail
· Ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
· Strong organisational skills and ability to manage competing priorities
· Client-focused mindset with strong interpersonal and relationship management skills
· Practical, solutions-oriented approach to legal problem-solving
