We are partnering with a well-established national personal injury law firm to recruit a Criminal Injuries Compensation Lawyer to join its reputable team in Perth.
This is an excellent opportunity for a lawyer with experience in criminal injuries compensation and/or personal injury law to work across a diverse range of matters, representing clients and helping them navigate the legal process to achieve positive outcomes.
About the Role
This role will provide exposure to a broad range of criminal injuries compensation matters, with key responsibilities including:
· Managing a caseload of criminal injuries compensation matters from initial instruction through to resolution
· Providing clear and practical legal advice to clients throughout their claims
· Preparing applications, legal correspondence, submissions and other relevant documentation
· Negotiating with relevant parties and representing clients in settlement discussions
· Appearing in relevant proceedings where required
· Working closely with senior lawyers and the broader team on complex matters
· Building strong client relationships and delivering a high level of client service
About You
· Experience in criminal injuries compensation and/or personal injury law
· Strong knowledge of relevant Western Australian legislation and procedures
· Excellent legal research, drafting and analytical skills
· Strong communication, negotiation and advocacy abilities
· Ability to manage a caseload effectively and work autonomously
· A compassionate, client-focused approach
· Strong attention to detail and commitment to achieving positive outcomes
