We are partnering with a well-established law firm to recruit an Employment Lawyer (3–5 years PAE) to join its Sydney team. This is an excellent opportunity for a mid-to-senior-level lawyer looking to work across a broad range of clients, including international organisations.
About the Role
The role will involve working across a broad range of Employment & Safety matters, with key responsibilities including:
· Manage a diverse range of employment and workplace matters for local and global employers.
· Conduct investigations and provide advice across the full employment lifecycle.
· Handle employment litigation, including defending claims before the Fair Work Commission (FWC).
· Advise clients on complex workplace, employment and safety issues.
· Work with a broad client base, including clients referred through international offices.
· Develop strong client relationships and provide commercially focused legal advice.
· Work closely with experienced senior lawyers in a supportive and collaborative team.
· Access structured learning and development opportunities to support ongoing professional growth.
About You
· 3–5 years’ post-admission experience (PAE).
· Experience conducting investigations and employment litigation.
· Ability to manage matters from start to finish.
· Strong drafting skills and the ability to provide clear, commercially focused advice.
· Ability to build strong and trusted client relationships.
· Strong risk identification and escalation skills.
· Sound judgement when handling complex matters.
