Our client, a distinguished boutique law firm located in the heart of Sydney’s Central Business District, is strategically expanding its Family Law practice. In pursuit of this growth, the firm is actively seeking a highly qualified Family Lawyer with a minimum of 2 years post-admission experience (PAE). The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive background in various facets of family law, including Wills and Estate, Property, Parenting, and Family matters.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle divorce and separation cases
- Conduct property and financial settlements
- Address parenting, custody, child support, and adoption matters
- Manage legal aspects of wills, trusts, powers of attorney, probate, succession planning, asset protection, guardianship, administration of deceased estates, and Family Provision Act claims
- Independently manage and oversee assigned case files
- Attend proceedings at the Family, Federal Circuit, and Magistrates Courts
Qualifications and Attributes:
- Minimum of 2 years PAE in family law
- Strong work ethic and self-motivated
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously
- Excellent communication skills
- Compassionate and empathetic approach towards clients
