We are partnering with a well-established law firm seeking a Junior Lawyer (1–3 PQE) to join a growing insurance team. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with experienced senior practitioners while gaining exposure to a broad range of defendant insurance matters.

What You’ll Be Doing
· Work alongside senior lawyers in managing a range of defendant insurance matters
· Prepare legal documents including pleadings, correspondence, advice and evidence summaries
· Carry out legal research and assist with case preparation and litigation strategy
· Liaise with insurers, insured clients, experts and counsel throughout the progression of matters
· Attend court appearances, mediations and settlement conferences where required
About You
· 1–3 years’ PQE, ideally within defendant insurance, however candidates with relevant in-house experience will also be considered
· Demonstrated strong academic performance
· Well-developed legal research, drafting and analytical skills
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
· Ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining strong attention to detail
· A collaborative mindset and proactive approach to learning and development
