We’re partnering with a respected national firm that is looking to add a mid-level lawyer to its Banking team in Brisbane. This is an excellent opportunity for a lawyer with 2–5 years’ PAE to step into a client-facing role with autonomy, strong team support, and genuine career development.

What you’ll be doing:
- Advising on loan enforcement for secured lenders, including mortgages and guarantees
- Dealing with sensitive customer issues, including hardship and dispute resolution
- Handling a high-volume practice while maintaining attention to detail and timelines
- Supervising junior lawyers and contributing to knowledge-sharing within the team
- Liaising directly with financial institutions and key commercial clients
- Assisting in the continuous improvement of internal processes and client delivery
What we’re looking for:
- 2–5 years’ PAE with experience in banking, finance, or commercial litigation
- Familiarity with loan enforcement, consumer credit legislation, and banking codes
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities
- A commercial mindset and sound judgment when advising clients
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- A team-oriented approach and desire to contribute to a supportive culture
- Experience supervising or mentoring junior team members is highly valued
