We’re working with a leading law firm that is looking to expand its well-regarded Corporate team in Melbourne. This is an exciting opportunity for a lawyer with 2–6 years’ PQE and a genuine interest in M&A and corporate advisory work.
This role offers hands-on experience with sophisticated cross-border transactions, public and private M&A, venture capital, and equity capital markets matters, all within a supportive and forward-thinking team.

What you’ll be doing:
- Advising Australian and international clients on M&A, capital raisings, IPOs, and commercial transactions
- Drafting key corporate documents including shareholders’ agreements, SPAs, and due diligence reports
- Managing due diligence processes and contributing to deal strategy
- Advising on Corporations Act, ASX Listing Rule compliance, and regulatory matters
- Working closely with senior lawyers and partners on high-value and complex deals
- Building strong client relationships and contributing to the growth of the practice
What we’re looking for:
- 2–6 years’ PQE with solid experience in corporate transactions
- Background in a top-tier, mid-tier, or respected boutique law firm
- Strong drafting and analytical skills, especially for M&A and ECM matters
- Demonstrated ability to manage due diligence and transaction workflows
- Commercial mindset with excellent attention to detail
- A team player who takes initiative and contributes to a positive team culture
