We are partnering with an established mid-tier firm seeking an experienced Employment & Industrial Relations Lawyer to join its growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a lawyer looking to advance their career in a collaborative, people-focused environment that values professional development and wellbeing.
Working closely with senior practitioners, you’ll handle a wide range of employment and industrial relations matters, including workplace investigations, employment advisory work, unfair dismissal and general protections disputes, enterprise bargaining, discrimination, restraint of trade, and bullying claims.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Work directly with clients to deliver clear, practical, and timely advice across a variety of employment and industrial relations matters.
- Draft and review employment contracts, enterprise agreements, and workplace policies in line with current legislation and best practice.
- Prepare legal correspondence, opinions, and documents for court and tribunal proceedings.
- Represent clients before the Fair Work Commission and other relevant tribunals.
- Collaborate with senior lawyers on complex matters, providing research and strategic input to achieve strong outcomes for clients.
About You:
- Hold a valid NSW Practising Certificate
- 3+ years’ post-qualification experience in employment and/or industrial relations law
- Strong understanding of the Fair Work Act, enterprise agreements, and public sector frameworks
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities and work both independently and collaboratively
