An established and growing insurance practice is seeking a Lawyer (0–2 PAE) to join its high-performing General Insurance team in Brisbane. This role is well suited to a motivated junior lawyer who is keen to develop expertise in insurance litigation and advisory work, particularly across property damage and motor vehicle claims. What You’ll Be Doing
• Work on a diverse range of complex litigation and advisory matters, focusing on property damage and motor vehicle claims
• Develop practical skills in insurance law and litigation practice
• Engage directly with clients and support ongoing client relationships
• Assist with preparation of court documents and legal correspondence
• Appear in various courts and tribunals under supervision
• Conduct legal research and assist in providing advice on disputes and claims
• Collaborate closely with senior lawyers and partners on files
About You
• Admitted lawyer with 0–2 years post-admission experience
• Completed PLT or hold a current Queensland practising certificate
• Experience or exposure to litigation is highly regarded
• Strong analytical, drafting, and written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent attention to detail and sound legal judgment
• Enthusiastic, personable, and client-focused approach
• Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
• Eager to learn and build a long-term career in insurance law
