A highly regarded insurance practice is seeking a 0–2 PQE Lawyer to join its growing General Insurance team in Melbourne. This role offers exposure to a diverse mix of complex litigation and advisory matters, with a focus on personal injury and motor vehicle property claims. The successful candidate will work closely with senior lawyers and clients, gaining strong foundational experience in insurance law and litigation while developing practical advocacy skills in a supportive, high-performing environment.

What You’ll Be Doing
• Work on a broad range of insurance litigation and advisory matters
• Assist with personal injury and motor vehicle property claims
• Develop technical expertise in insurance law and litigation
• Manage aspects of files with appropriate supervision
• Liaise directly with clients and stakeholders
• Prepare legal documents, correspondence, and research materials
• Attend court appearances, tribunals, and dispute resolution processes
• Contribute to team knowledge sharing and junior support where required
About You
• 0–2 years PQE with a valid practising certificate (VIC)
• Exposure to defendant insurance litigation preferred
• Strong analytical, drafting, and communication skills
• High attention to detail and sound legal judgment
• Enthusiastic, personable, and client-focused approach
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
• Motivated to build a long-term career in insurance law
