We are seeking a Historical/Institutional Abuse Lawyer with 2-7 years PQE to join our client based in Sydney.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with a senior partner on a variety of abuse matters, including common law claims and historical child abuse cases.
- Advocate for plaintiffs in cases against government and religious institutions.
- Handle complex legal issues related to physical, sexual, and institutional abuse.
- Be part of a high-performing team specialising in sensitive and challenging abuse cases.
Qualifications and Experience
- A minimum of 2 years of post-qualification experience in legal practice.
- Must possess a current NSW Practicing Certificate.
- Proven experience and passion for personal injury law, specifically in the context of abuse law.
- Ability to handle significant and sensitive cases with professionalism and empathy.
