A well-established insurance legal practice is seeking a Legal Assistant with 1–2+ years’ experience to join its General Insurance team in Sydney.
The role offers exposure to a busy and fast-paced environment, supporting lawyers and partners across a broad range of insurance matters.
Working closely with senior practitioners and the wider team, the role provides strong administrative and legal support across end-to-end file management and client service delivery.

What You’ll Be Doing
• Drafting and preparing court documents and correspondence
• Managing diaries, calendars, and scheduling requirements
• Assisting with brief preparation and file organisation
• Supporting monthly billing processes
• Opening and closing legal files
• Providing executive and personal assistant support as required
• Assisting lawyers with day-to-day legal and administrative tasks
• General secretarial and administrative support across matters
About You
• 1–2+ years’ experience as a legal assistant, legal secretary, or administrative assistant
• Billing experience desirable
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• High attention to detail and accurate proofreading abilities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Proactive, committed, and team-oriented approach
• Genuine interest in building a long-term career in legal support
