Legal Assistant – Insurance

There is an opportunity for a Legal Assistant to join the Insurance team in a full-time capacity at the Sydney office. The team handles a variety of CTP cases. 

Responsibilities:

  • Managing files – opening/closing
  • Communicating and managing a broad range of client interactions
  • Preparing briefs
  • Handling monthly billing and reporting
  • Preparing correspondence and legal documents in consultation with authors
  • Managing diaries, including scheduling client appointments and events
  • Providing general administrative support

Ideal Candidate:

  • A minimum of 3 years of legal experience
  • Proficiency with precedent, billing, and file management software
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Prior experience in defendant insurance litigation 
  • An enthusiastic and proactive work attitude
