We are partnering with a respected plaintiff law firm to recruit an experienced Personal Injury Legal Assistant to join their busy Brisbane CBD team. What you’ll be doing:
- Draft and format letters, court documents, and other legal correspondence
- Liaise with clients, medical professionals, and Government departments including ATO, Centrelink, Medicare, and WorkCover
- Manage mail, photocopying, printing, and courier coordination
- Compile briefs to counsel and other experts
- File management and archiving completed matters
- Transcribe digital dictations
- Schedule client appointments, medical reviews, and conferences with counsel
- Provide general secretarial and administrative support to the team
What we’re looking for:
- Previous legal assistant or secretarial experience (essential)
- Experience in a legal office, preferably in personal injury
- Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise effectively
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and professional phone manner
- Reliable, proactive, and enthusiastic team player
- Professional appearance and courteous, friendly demeanour
- Eagerness to learn new skills and contribute to team success
