An established national firm is seeking a Legal Assistant to join their growing Personal Injury team in Tweed Heads. This role provides key support to the Senior Associate and Paralegal in a busy litigation environment. It is ideal for a candidate with 2+ years’ experience in a legal setting who thrives in a fast-paced, client-focused workplace.

What You’ll Be Doing
· Maintain and manage client files with accuracy and attention to detail
· Digital transcription and word processing of letters, documents, and court materials
· Communicate with government departments including the Australian Taxation Office, Centrelink, and Medicare
· Liaise with hospitals, doctors, and other third parties
· Prepare and collate mail, briefs to counsel, and other expert documentation
· Open, close, and electronically archive files
· Provide general administrative and secretarial support to the team
About You
· Previous experience as a Legal Assistant is essential (2+ years preferred)
· Neat, professional appearance and strong work ethic
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including phone manner
· Reliable, responsible, and eager to contribute to the team’s success
· Friendly, courteous, and professional demeanour
· Willingness to learn new skills and take on varied responsibilities in a busy legal environment
