A busy and specialised Toxic Torts team is seeking a Legal Assistant with at least 1 year of legal support experience. This role offers hands-on exposure to litigation support, providing assistance across a variety of administrative and legal tasks.
Working closely with an experienced team, the position offers autonomy, responsibility, and the opportunity to develop technical expertise in legal administration within a fast-paced environment.

What You’ll Be Doing
· Manage client enquiries and handle phone calls
· Open and close files, maintaining accurate records
· Draft, proofread, and format legal documents
· Manage diaries and schedule appointments
· Transcribe dictaphone recordings and assist with billing
· Perform mail merges, data entry, and document preparation
· Support senior staff with file management and general administrative tasks
· Prioritise competing deadlines while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
About You
· At least 1 year of legal assistant experience, preferably in litigation
· Strong communication skills with a client-focused approach
· Proficient in MS Word and Excel; skilled in document formatting and proofreading
· Highly organised, proactive, and detail-oriented
· Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
· Collaborative team player with a commitment to quality and efficiency
