What You’ll Do

  • Provide high-level legal and administrative support to a Senior Associate focused on abuse law.
  • Prepare and manage legal files, draft correspondence, and liaise with clients and third parties.
  • Assist in preparing and filing court documents, briefs, and discovery materials.
  • Maintain calendars, track critical deadlines, and coordinate appointments.
  • Create a compassionate and responsive client experience from first contact to resolution.

Who You Are

  • You have at least 1 year of experience as a Legal Secretary, ideally in abuse law or broader personal injury practice (e.g., medical negligence, institutional abuse, motor vehicle accidents, workers’ compensation, public liability).
  • Empathetic and Professional – You approach every client interaction with care, discretion, and respect.
  • Highly Organised – You’re confident managing competing priorities and strict deadlines.
  • Collaborative – You enjoy being part of a close-knit legal team and contributing to shared goals.
  • Tech-Savvy – Proficient with legal practice management systems and Microsoft Office.
