We are partnering with a well-established team seeking an experienced Legal Secretary to support a busy Wills & Estates practice. What You’ll Be Doing
- Assist with all aspects of Wills & Estates matters, including preparation of Wills, Enduring Powers of Attorney, and other estate-planning documents
- Prepare authorities, distribution statements, and related documentation
- Perform accurate and timely word processing, typing, formatting, and document collation
- Assist with digital dictation when required
- Manage file openings, prepare costs letters, and coordinate archiving of completed files
- Generate trust and office receipts and manage cheque requisitions
- Maintain and manage calendars, monitor deadlines, and provide reminders to ensure efficient workflow
About You
- Proven experience in a legal secretarial role, preferably supporting Wills & Estates matters
- Strong familiarity with legal terms, standard procedures, and formal document formats
- A proactive self-starter with strong initiative and attention to detail
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
- Competent in document production, matter management, and general administrative processes
- Committed to contributing positively to team culture and delivering excellent client service
