We are partnering with an established plaintiff law firm to recruit an experienced Personal Injury Lawyer (3+ PAE) to join its Brisbane team. This is an excellent opportunity for a lawyer seeking to manage a diverse personal injury caseload while continuing to develop their litigation expertise.
About the Role
The successful candidate will manage a range of personal injury matters, with responsibilities including:
· Managing a full portfolio of personal injury files
· Advising clients throughout the claims and litigation process
· Preparing legal correspondence, pleadings and supporting documentation
· Conducting legal research and assessing evidence
· Negotiating with insurers and other parties
· Representing clients in personal injury disputes
· Managing deadlines, file progression and client communication
· Working closely with senior practitioners on complex matters
About You
· 3+ years post-admission experience
· Experience across two or more personal injury areas, such as workers compensation, public liability, MVA or TPD claims
· Current Queensland Practising Certificate
· Strong understanding of relevant Queensland personal injury legislation
· Excellent file management and time management skills
· Strong legal research, drafting and analytical abilities
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Confident and professional client-facing manner
· Self-motivated, organised and able to work independently
