We are partnering with a well-established national personal injury law firm to recruit a Personal Injury Lawyer to join its reputable team in Hobart.
This is an excellent opportunity for a lawyer with experience in personal injury law to join a highly regarded practice and work across a diverse range of matters, supporting clients throughout their claims and helping achieve strong outcomes.
About the Role
This role will provide exposure to a broad range of personal injury matters, with key responsibilities including:
· Managing a caseload of personal injury matters from initial instruction through to resolution
· Advising clients on their rights, options and prospects throughout the claims process
· Preparing legal advice, correspondence, pleadings, submissions and other relevant documentation
· Conducting negotiations and working towards favourable outcomes for clients
· Liaising with insurers, medical professionals, barristers and other stakeholders
· Appearing in relevant proceedings where required
· Building strong client relationships and working collaboratively with the wider legal team
About You
· Experience in personal injury law, ideally across a range of plaintiff matters
· Strong understanding of relevant Tasmanian personal injury legislation and procedures
· Excellent legal research, drafting, negotiation and analytical skills
· Strong communication and client relationship management abilities
· Ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively both autonomously and as part of a team
· A client-focused approach with a genuine commitment to achieving positive outcomes
· Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to your work
