Our client, a well-established and highly respected personal injury law plaintiff firm, is currently seeking an experienced Public Liability Lawyer to join their growing teams in Sydney and Tasmania. This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven legal professional to work on complex and rewarding public liability matters while making a real difference in clients’ lives.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a varied caseload of public liability matters from initial consultation through to resolution
- Conduct client interviews, draft legal documents, and provide high-quality legal advice
- Prepare matters for negotiation, mediation, or litigation as necessary
- Appear in court where required, or brief counsel appropriately
- Maintain strong client relationships through clear communication and empathy
- Collaborate with a team of skilled legal professionals and support staff
About You
- Admitted solicitor with 1+ years’ of post-admission experience in public liability up to senior level
- Strong understanding of public liability legislation and procedures in NSW and/or TAS
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A client-first mindset with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
