About the Role
We are working with a leading national law firm that is seeking a talented Public Liability Lawyer to join their Sydney team. This opportunity is open to lawyers with 2PQE+ through to Senior Associate level, offering the chance to work across a broad range of complex and rewarding public liability matters.
You’ll handle a mix of claims, working with injured clients, insurers, and other stakeholders while being part of a collaborative and supportive team environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage a varied caseload of public liability claims from inception to resolution
• Draft pleadings, advices, and correspondence with precision and clarity
• Conduct legal research and prepare client-focused advice
• Appear at court hearings, mediations, and settlement conferences
• Build and maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships
• Mentor junior lawyers and contribute to team development (for senior applicants)
What We’re Looking For
Experience:
• Minimum 2 years PQE in personal injury law, with a focus on public liability
• Experience in managing files independently and running matters end-to-end
Skills:
• Strong drafting and advocacy skills
• Excellent time management and organisational abilities
• Ability to communicate empathetically with clients while delivering commercial advice

• Proactive, client-focused, and solution-oriented
• Team player with a collaborative mindset
• Resilient and able to manage competing priorities
