About the role:
There is a unique opportunity for an Associate or Senior Associate to work on large infrastructure matters, collaborate with clients and assist in leading and developing an exceptional group of Junior Lawyers.
Key responsibilities:
- Advise on and draft a range of project documentation including project development and construction delivery documents
- Liaise with clients and assist in negotiations
- Assist with business development and marketing initiative
- Provide advice on construction and project disputes;
- Manage litigation, arbitration and adjudications from start to finish;
- Work on claims and disputes arising out of major infrastructure projects including construction of road and rail infrastructure, power generation and supply and other civil construction;
Qualification:
- 3+ years PQE
- Experience assisting on a range of energy/construction/projects matters
- Excellent analytical, drafting and communication skills
- Strong time management & organisational skills with the capacity to manage multiple projects and conflicting priorities simultaneously
- Strong leadership skills to assist in developing the junior cohort
