An established and highly regarded law firm is seeking a Senior Associate (5+ years’ PAE) to join its Employment practice in Brisbane. This role offers exposure to complex and high-value employment and industrial relations matters, including disputes, advisory work, and corporate support. Working closely with senior practitioners, the successful candidate will play a key role in delivering strategic, commercially focused advice to a sophisticated client base, while collaborating with colleagues across national offices. What You’ll Be Doing
• Manage a range of employment and industrial relations matters with a high degree of autonomy
• Advise on workplace disputes, disciplinary processes, and termination matters
• Draft and negotiate employment contracts, policies, and agreements
• Conduct workplace investigations and provide strategic recommendations
• Review and interpret modern awards and industrial instruments
• Support corporate and transactional teams on employment-related matters
• Liaise with clients and stakeholders, delivering clear and commercially focused advice
• Collaborate with national teams to deliver consistent and high-quality outcomes
About You
• 5+ years PAE in employment and industrial relations law within a reputable private practice
• Strong technical skills with a proven track record in delivering high-quality work
• Commercially minded with a pragmatic and client-focused approach
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Highly organised with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines
• Collaborative, proactive, and driven to contribute to a positive team environment
