A healthcare litigation team is seeking a Senior Associate with 4+ years’ post-qualification experience to handle complex medical negligence and product liability matters. Working closely with a leading Partner, this role offers exposure to high-profile healthcare and insurance litigation for major clients such as hospital groups, IVF providers, pharmaceutical companies, and insurers. The position provides autonomy in managing matters while contributing to strategic client advice and high-stakes litigation.

What You’ll Be Doing
· Handle complex medical negligence and product liability matters from start to resolution
· Advise clients on liability, risk management, and litigation strategy
· Prepare legal documents, pleadings, and court submissions for high-stakes cases
· Conduct legal research and provide insights on healthcare and insurance issues
· Collaborate with clients, insurers, medical experts, and senior counsel
· Assist with regulatory matters and coverage advice
· Work independently while supporting senior litigation partners
· Contribute to business development and maintain client relationships
· Mentor junior lawyers and oversee their development
· Produce internal and external publications to support knowledge-sharing
About You
· Qualified lawyer with 4+ years post-admission experience
· Proven experience in medical negligence and/or product liability matters
· Background in defendant litigation preferred; plaintiff experience welcome
· Confident managing high-value, complex cases from start to finish
· Exceptional legal research, drafting, and advocacy capabilities
· Skilled at building strong client relationships and effective communication
· Independent, proactive, and highly organised
· Maintains professionalism and commercial insight
· Meets performance targets and contributes to growth initiatives
