We are partnering with a globally connected and highly regarded firm to recruit an experienced Banking & Finance Senior Associate (or Associate ready to step up). About the Role
This role sits within a high-performing Banking & Finance team advising lenders, borrowers, investment managers and developers across a broad range of complex debt transactions. The practice has a strong focus on loan markets work and is regularly engaged on high-value, structured and cross-border matters.
You will work closely with respected Partners while also enjoying autonomy over your own files, with meaningful client contact and responsibility.
Key responsibilities include:
· Advising on property and construction finance transactions
· Acting on corporate finance, acquisition and leveraged finance matters
· Supporting and leading project finance transactions
· Drafting and negotiating facility agreements, security documents and intercreditor arrangements
· Managing transactions from structuring through to completion
· Maintaining strong client relationships and delivering commercially pragmatic advice
· Collaborating within a close-knit, collegiate team environment
About You
· 4–8 years’ PAE in Banking & Finance (experience across property, corporate, leveraged or project finance highly regarded)
· Strong technical drafting and transaction management skills
· Ability to run matters with appropriate supervision
· Commercially astute with a client-focused approach
· Proactive, motivated and career-driven
· Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively
· Desire to progress toward senior leadership in a growing practice
