We are partnering with a nationally recognised and rapidly expanding firm to recruit a Senior Associate. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced property lawyer to join a substantial and well-established team with a strong pipeline of premium development and transactional work.
About the Role
This position sits within a high-performing Property practice acting for major commercial, government and institutional clients across a diverse range of real estate matters. The team is regularly engaged on significant acquisitions, disposals and large-scale development projects.
You will work closely with respected senior practitioners while maintaining autonomy over your own matters, with genuine client contact and leadership responsibility.
Key responsibilities include:
· Advising on commercial, industrial and retail acquisitions and disposals
· Leading residential and mixed-use development projects
· Drafting and negotiating complex leasing arrangements
· Structuring and managing large-scale property transactions from inception to completion
· Providing strategic, commercially focused advice to a broad client base
· Supervising and mentoring junior lawyers
· Contributing to business development and strengthening client relationships
About You
· 5+ years’ PAE in Property law
· Demonstrated experience in development and complex commercial property transactions
· Strong drafting, negotiation and matter management skills
· Ability to run files with confidence and appropriate supervision
· Commercially astute with a pragmatic, solutions-focused approach
· Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset
· Interest in mentoring junior practitioners and contributing to team growth
