Senior Associate – Real Estate

We are partnering with a highly regarded national law firm to recruit a Senior Associate to join its Real Estate team in Brisbane.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced property lawyer to work on a broad range of high-quality real estate matters while being part of a collaborative and supportive team environment.

About the Role

This position will involve advising a diverse client base on a wide range of commercial property matters, including acquisitions and disposals, leasing transactions, development projects, and general property advisory work.

The successful candidate will work closely with experienced practitioners on significant transactions across various asset classes while playing a key role in delivering practical and commercially focused legal solutions.

The role offers exposure to sophisticated property matters for local, national, and international clients, providing excellent opportunities for professional growth and career progression.

Key responsibilities include:

· Advising on commercial property acquisitions, disposals, and due diligence processes

· Drafting and negotiating contracts, leases, agreements, and related property documentation

· Assisting clients with development projects and property transactions from inception through to completion

· Providing strategic advice on a broad range of real estate and property-related issues

· Managing matters autonomously while collaborating with colleagues across various practice areas

· Building and maintaining strong client relationships

· Supporting business development initiatives and contributing to the growth of the practice

· Mentoring and supervising junior lawyers where appropriate

About You

· Admitted to practice in Australia

· Approximately 5+ years’ post-admission experience in commercial real estate or property law

· Strong experience across property transactions, leasing, and development matters

· Excellent drafting, negotiation, and matter management skills

· Strong legal research, analytical, and problem-solving abilities

· Commercially minded with a practical and client-focused approach

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

· Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team environment

· Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes
