Responsibilities

  • Handle complex construction disputes and provide coverage advice
  • Represent clients in litigation and arbitration, focusing on professional indemnity and warranty cases
  • Advise on coverage matters for local and international insurers
  • Manage large-scale construction disputes and claims
  • Collaborate with partners and team members to deliver high-quality legal services

Ideal Candidate

  • 5-10 years of relevant experience in insurance litigation, particularly in construction-related disputes
  • Strong understanding of building contracts, design, and the role of building professionals like engineers and architects
  • Familiarity with the Building Act (Vic) and related case law
  • Experience in large-scale litigation, arbitration, and coverage advice
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and high professional standards
