We are partnering with a leading Australian law firm seeking a Senior Associate or Special Counsel to join its Employment practice in Sydney. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded employment lawyer to work on complex, high-quality matters for a diverse client base, within a collaborative and high-performing environment.

What You’ll Be Doing
· Advise clients on employment agreements, workplace policies, and regulatory compliance
· Handle discrimination, harassment, and employee dispute matters
· Support clients through restructures, redundancies, and organisational change
· Assist with dispute resolution, including negotiations and formal proceedings
· Stay across legislative and regulatory developments impacting employment law
· Work closely with colleagues across teams on complex, multi-faceted matters
· Build and maintain strong client relationships through clear, commercial advice
About You
· Minimum 5 years’ post-qualification experience in private practice employment law
· Strong technical expertise with a commercial, client-focused mindset
· Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
· Ability to manage competing deadlines and perform well under pressure
· Collaborative, positive, and proactive approach to teamwork
· Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes
