We are partnering with a leading insurance firm that is seeking an experienced Senior Associate or Special Counsel with 6+ years’ PAE to join its growing General Liability team. This is an exceptional opportunity to work on complex, high-profile matters involving personal injury, property damage, and construction-related claims. What You’ll Be Doing
· Manage and lead complex general liability matters involving personal injury, property damage, product liability, and construction-related claims
· Provide high-level strategic advice to domestic and international insurers
· Draft, review, and settle pleadings, advices, correspondence, and evidence
· Oversee litigation strategy and drive matters to resolution
· Conduct legal research and contribute to thought leadership projects
· Manage negotiations, mediations, and settlement conferences
· Mentor junior lawyers and support team knowledge-sharing initiatives
· Maintain strong client relationships through clear communication and commercial insight
About You
· Admitted Solicitor in NSW with a current practising certificate
· Minimum 6+ years’ PAE/PQE, ideally within general liability, insurance litigation, or related areas
· Strong drafting, research, and analytical capability
· Ability to take ownership of files and autonomously manage complex matters
· Confident advocate with excellent negotiation and communication skills
· Collaborative, proactive, and committed to high-quality client service
· Genuine interest in building a long-term career in insurance and risk practice
