We are partnering with a highly regarded Australian law firm to recruit a Senior Associate or Special Counsel to join its General Liability practice in Brisbane.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced insurance litigation lawyer to work on complex defendant personal injury and dust disease matters while taking a senior role within a collaborative and high-performing team.
About the Role
This role will provide exposure to a broad range of general liability matters, with key responsibilities including:
· Managing defendant personal injury and dust disease claims
· Advising insurer clients on complex liability disputes
· Conducting legal research and preparing high-quality legal documents
· Managing matters with a high level of autonomy
· Building and maintaining strong client relationships
· Collaborating with senior practitioners on strategic and complex matters
About You
· Senior Associate or Special Counsel with experience in general liability or insurance litigation
· Demonstrated experience handling dust disease claims
· Strong legal research, drafting and analytical skills
· Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
· Ability to manage complex matters independently
· A collaborative and client-focused approach
